After-School Homework Program:
The SOS Center’s After School Homework Program and Youth Summer Camp are run by Director Tiffany Phillips (pictured above with students). Ms. Tiffany has 13 years experience working with youth in Milwaukee. The After School Homework Program is open to all students aged 7 and above. Students work with staff and volunteers to complete their homework and school projects before having dinner and going home for the evening.
The SOS Center has watched students thrive in the Center’s environment of structure and Christian love. Improvement has been seen in grades, homework, school attendance and behavior. Ms. Tiffany works closely with the parents and schools to ensure all students are successful.
The After School Program starts in September and runs through the end of the school year in June. It operates Monday – Thursday from after school (2:30) until 6:00 pm. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping the students with their homework or would like to support the After School Program with donations please contact Tiffany Phillips or Jodi Kessel Lyon at the SOS Center, 414-449-9964.
